    la tienne (she’s yours) is an electric passenger launch, she is a pretty boat purchased especially for this new attraction.
    Operating under license and in partnership with Shepway District Council. Wind and Weather proof, we will sail all Summer through to late Autumn.

    The Royal Military Canal, Hythe in Kent, is of great historical interest, built primarily as a defence during the Napoleonic Wars.
    Traveling by boat is ideal for photographing the Royal Military Canal and the wildlife. la tienne will seat up to 8 passengers comfortably.
    Typical canal trips are approximately 50 minutes, or bookings for a private voyage for use as a Bridal carriage, Picnic Trip, Birthday Party, Bird Watching etc. are available.

There are many unique attractions in Hythe, including, Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, An unusual crypt at the Parish Church of St. Leonard, as well as Castles and Gardens. Nearby is the beautiful tree lined Ladies Walk. Hythe High Street is famous for it’s small independent shops.

    This migratory Nearctic heron, roughly the size of a Coot, somehow found itself on the wrong side of the Atlantic and has settled into a fish-rich stretch of the Royal Military Canal near West Hythe in Kent.

    Pleasure boating has operated on the canal for more than 100 years. Boats can be hired between Easter weekend and the end of September, from one hour to up to half a day for £10 an hour.
